Our rates are based on textual complexity and density of indexable material, with most projects falling between $4.00 and $6.00 per book page. Based on our experience, we can often offer specific rate quotes based on descriptions of projects, although sometimes e-mailed excerpts are necessary. 

We are also happy to negotiate rates by the index entry. We find that these arrangements work especially well for medical texts and large encyclopedia indexing. These rates are generally between 65 and 75 cents per index entry.
